The Opportunity

Our Sales Team is expanding!  In this new Account Executive role, you will focus on hunting new business opportunities within the SMB market.  Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will proactively identify potential clients, engage in target outreach, and build relationships with decision-makers.  Your goal is to drive revenue growth by securing new accounts, building customer relationships, and tailoring technology solutions to meet the client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients within the SMB market segment and research the same on all prospects.
  • Use various channels such as social media, email, networking events, and cold calls to reach out and create initial connections.
  • Listen to customer needs and propose solutions to help solve their challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients while fostering relationships internally with the larger Ignite team.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional sales experience in the information technology and managed services industry is an asset.
  • A passion for sales and exceeding sales targets is part of your DNA.
  • A track record of proactively building relationships with new clients.
  • A positive attitude and a strong commitment to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in Business Administration will help to be successful in this role.

Other Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle.
  • Travel requirements vary from downtown Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
